Newest Development
For all of you who are waiting on the edge of your seats with baited breath to see how the job-search drama unfolds, here's the latest scoop: The other group in Vegas that Brigham sent his CV to has offered him an interview... as well as round-trip flights for the both of us, a rental car, hotel accomodations for 3 days, and dinner! From a friend that used to live in Vegas, this group is over the "swanky" private practice hospital. We don't know any information about the job itself yet, but so far I think they're off to a pretty good start. I'm counting down the days until our Vegas vacation!

Which hospital is it? Vegas would be a good place to live. I could do vegas. There are some great places to live out there and a good LDS community too.
ReplyDeleteThe first hospital is the University Hospital, and the second is Mountain View Hospital. Are you familiar with them?
ReplyDeleteThe swanky hospital eh? I suppose this is where the stars will go when they lose gambling, drink themselves to oblivion, and take pills. Brigham will probably do a lot of stomach pumping in that one. Vegas is doable for a few years if'n it were me, but not where I'd want to raise my kids. On the upside, it's on the way to Cambrie's house!
ReplyDeleteIf you have to live out of Utah, I would vote for LV...as it is on the way to where Nelsons live. Course, when Steve graduates, they won't live there anymore. If you both end up in Vegas...I predict you won't see gramps down there for at least 1/2 the year (with it's heat issues).

ReplyDeleteDid you know that there is an airline that flies from LV to Rochester, nonstop, with fares around $39 each way?!! You would have NO excuse not come visit us if you lived in LV.

How exciting for you guys!! Especially since you get to join Brigham on the trip and get pampered the whole time! Woo hoo! You definitely deserve it. Can't wait to hear how it goes! We'll be anxiously awaiting all the details! :)
